The city of Vrindavan is considered quite sacred in Hinduism. This is the place where Bhagwan Krishna spent his childhood on the banks of the river Yamuna. The documents reveal that Lord Krishna performed a divine dance in Vrindavan itself. Not only this, but Krishna had also given the message of love through Radha with Rasleela. The ancient past of Vrindavan Dham is associated with Hindu culture and history. Vallabhacharya believes to have come to Vrindavan at the age of 11. Later he preaches three pilgrimage centers in India and went barefoot and preached Bhagavad Gita at 84 places. He used to stay in Vrindavan for four months every year. Thus his confirmation in Vrindavan greatly influenced the people.
The essence of Vrindavan began to become extinct by the 16th century. Later, it is restored by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In 1515, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu traveled to Vrindavan with the aim of locating the lost holy places associated with Lord Krishna’s parabolic past. It believes that by his divine spiritual power, he was able to explore all the important places of Krishna’s past and around Vrindavan. After this Meerabai also left the Mewar state and came to Vrindavan. Thus Vrindavan Dham is famous for its ancient history and often a part of Spiritual Tours.
Banke Bihari Temple
This temple located in Vrindavan is one of the most revered temples in the country dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple is built in the Rajasthani style and the image of Lord Krishna appears in the temple as a child. Whenever you go to visit Vrindavan, do not forget to see Banke Bihari Temple.

Prem Mandir Vrindavan Dham
This grand religious temple lies in Vrindavan dedicated to Radha Krishna and Sita Ram. Built of white marble and adorned with very intricate carvings, this temple is also famous for its architectural beauty. Whenever you go to visit Vrindavan, do not forget to see the Prem Mandir.

ISKCON Temple
Well-known as the Sri Krishna Balram Temple, which beholds various structures and idols of Shri Krishna and Shri Balram. This magnificent temple located in Vrindavan is worth visiting. Whenever you visit Vrindavan Dham, do not forget to visit the ISKCON Temple.

Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple
One of the oldest temples in Vrindavan, Gopeshvar Mahadev Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees pour holy water of Yamuna on Shiva Linga here. This temple is worth seeing in the temples of Vrindavan Dham. If you wish to explore the bliss of Raas Leela, then you must visit the temple and pray to Lord for inducing him into Sakhibhav.

Shahji Temple, Vrindavan
Shahji Temple was built in the year 1876 by Shah Kundan Lal and is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The main deity of this temple made of marble is known as Chhota Radha Ramana. It is mainly visited by religious devotees and tourists to admire the stunning architectural beauty.

Katyayani Peeth
The Katyayani Peeth Temple is also known as Uma Shakti Peeth which is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. It locates within the premises of Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple in Vrindavan. This temple is widely revered by Hindu pilgrims to worship five different forms – Goddess Uma, Lord Shiva, Lord Lakshmi Narayan, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Surya.
