Tour Itinerary in Detail
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
The tour begins as you arrive in Delhi and meet the assigned tour manager of your Luxury Golden Triangle Tour. He will escort you to the pre-booked hotel where you’ll stay for 2 nights. The stay will be at the Taj Palace Hotel offers every comfort and luxury for your stay in Delhi. There are many luxury amenities to enjoy during your stay.
India’s chaotic and captivating capital, Delhi is an intoxicating fusion of old and new world, authentic and contemporary together. In the evening, stroll through the bustling bazaars of Delhi where you will see the colonial-era architecture, ornate mosques, and feast at gourmet restaurants.
Later, return to the hotel for overnight sleep.
Day 2: Delhi sightseeing tour
After a scrumptious meal in the morning, get ready for Delhi Sightseeing Tour covering old Delhi & New Delhi.
The 300-year-old ancient walled Old Delhi was established by the renowned Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan in 1648 had his empire capital here. Witness the area’s royal mantle has left splattering incredible monuments and historical masterpieces. Drive past the ancient Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Raj Ghat.
Afterward, discover the history and culture continue in New Delhi where you’ll drive past President’s House and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Further along, the hillock lies the iconic India Gate – a memorial site for the heroes of World War I. Next, visit the Humayun’s Tomb with infinity arches and immaculate lawns. Also the 12th century-old, Qutub Minar is arguably the well-known tourist attraction of Delhi. Lastly, end the sightseeing tour with a visit to Birla Temple.
After a wonderful exploration of Delhi, return to the hotel for a good night’s rest before heading to Agra.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra Transfer
On the 3rd day of your tour, enjoy breakfast and bid farewell to Delhi as the Golden Triangle route takes you to Agra. Arriving in Agra in the afternoon, so you will have ample time to explore Agra at leisure. As the dusk falls, return to the hotel and unwind. Stay overnight in the comforting amenities of ITC Mughal or Taj Hotel.
Day 4: Agra Sightseeing Tour
Wake up early in the morning to see Agra’s most interesting attraction – the Taj Mahal in its beautiful look. The first rays of the sun cast a golden pink glow on the shimmering white marble structures of the Taj – a magical spectacle. This time of the day provides unmatched romance of setting which gives an opportunity to explore the mausoleum in a limited crowd.
After a well-spent morning, return to the hotel for sumptuous breakfast and freshen up. Later on the day, you will visit Agra Fort’s enormous structures like Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas. As the dusk settle over the city, return to the Taj for capturing its delightful views from the immaculate lawns of Mehtab Bagh. You can expect a breathtaking sunset over the monument. Day 5: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
The next location of this trip takes you on a tour of Rajasthan’s legendary city Jaipur which is adorned with palaces and innumerable pink buildings. After breakfast, you’ll set off to Jaipur – the Pink City of Rajasthan with pausing on the way at Fatehpur Sikri. This is a mysterious and abandoned city of Mughal Emperor Akbar, in the honor of the great Saint Sheikh Salim Chishti. Once Akbar’s Capital, the city was abandoned due to shortage of water. Roam around the capital of Mughal’s and explore the structures within the city.
Afterward, resume the drive through the first-planned city of India – Jaipur. Spend the evening while relaxing at the ITC Rajputana Hotel followed by an overnight stay.
Day 6: Jaipur sightseeing tour
The 6th day in Jaipur begins with a wholesome breakfast. Post that get ready to embark a visit to the iconic Amer Fort. The magnificent fortress and pride of Jaipur comprises a sprawling palace complex with marble arches, pink sandstone terraces, an embellished mirror palace, and many other attractions. Inside the fort resides Jag Mandir and Sheesh Mahal which are the must-see attractions of Jaipur. On the way to the fort, the tour includes a short stop at Hawa Mahal composed of 953 small windows and all the quintessential Jaipur’s terracotta pink hues.
By the afternoon, continue the sightseeing by visiting City Palace – the former royal residence of Maharajas in Jaipur. The palace covers 1/7th portion of the city’s landscape where you’ll find courtyards, buildings, and gardens. There’s an on-site museum housing a vast collection of ancient armory and weaponry. Further, head to Jantar Mantar – an impressive UNESCO observatory with an array of astronomical instruments and the largest sundial in the world.
Retire for the day later and get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: In Jaipur
After relishing breakfast, get ready to proceed ahead for sightseeing in Jaipur. This day offers a respite from traveling and the opportunity to relish authentic experiences.
Engage in some unusual experiences which will be rewarding in your journey. Get the cooking demonstration and dine with a local family of Jaipur. Indulge in the myriad flavors and colors while gaining some cooking tips from the experts.
In the afternoon, take a stroll around the colorful bazaars of Jaipur to buy some traditional handicraft items and textiles. You can buy blue pottery, puppets, tie-dye, block prints, miniature paintings, meenakari, and more.
By the late evening, you can attend a traditional aarti at Govind Devji Temple near City Palace. Afterward, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Jaipur to Delhi
Enjoy the wholesome breakfast in Jaipur and now it’s time to wave goodbye to the beautiful Pink City of India. Get on a 5-6 hrs journey taking you back to Delhi where your epic adventure begins first. Once you’ve checked in to the Taj Palace Hotel take a rest and spend the day as you like.
You may also engage in a visit to Asia’s largest spice market – Khari Baori, do some last-minute shopping, and unwind in the hotel room. Stay overnight in Delhi.
Day 9: Leave for Hometown
The final morning of the Golden Triangle Luxury Tour will begin with a healthy breakfast. Post that, a transfer will take you to the airport where you’ll board your onward or return flight from Delhi.
