The Karnataka Temple Tour itinerary takes travelers to famous temples of Karnataka on a guided tour of 7 nights and 8 days. The expedition makes the tourists take a dive into the purity of mind and observe the beautiful ancient architecture as well. The major destinations covered are Kukke, Subrahmanya, Dharmasthala, Mangalore, Udupi, Murudeshwar, Idagunji, Gokarna, Sirsi, Jog Falls, Singadur, Kollur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kalasa, Belur and Halebid. The tour starts from Bangalore. It is an ideal tour to explore instinctive architectural brilliance and spirituality on the same go.

Upon arrival at Bangalore airport, meet our tour representative who will be there for a warm welcome. Thereafter, you will be transferred to Kukke Subrahmanya by road. Once you reach there, check-in at your pre-booked hotel and take a rest for a while. Later, be ready to pay a visit to the main temple of Subrahmanya. Afterward, you will proceed to visit Adi Subrahmanya Temple. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner followed by a relaxing night stay.

This morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel in Kukke Subrahmanya and begin a road trip to Mangalore. On the way, you will take a stop by Dharamsthala which is about 60 kms away and is a part of the famous Hindu pilgrim centre. Then, you will explore the Manjunathaswamy Temple – one of the major tourist attractions of Dharmasthala. Later, visit Rathnagiri to explore the statue of Bhagawan Bahubali and Sri Rama Kshetra located on the bank of Nethravathi River. Post this, you will proceed to Mangalore. On reaching there, complete the check in formalities and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay in the hotel.

After a wholesome breakfast in the morning, you will be leaving for the local sightseeing tour of Mangalore and discovering its famous ancient temples. We will begin the day tour by paying a visit to Kadri Manjunatha Temple. Later, head to Mangaladevi Temple, Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple, and famous Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple.

Afterward, pay a visit to Kateel Durga Parameshwari Temple which is about 20 kilometers away and nestled on the banks of the Nandini River. If time and energy allow, visit Kudupu Ananthapadmanabha Temple which comes on the way to Kateel. Later, proceed a drive to Udupi and check in to the hotel there. By the late evening, visit Malpe Beach and have stunning views of the sunset. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Start the day with a wholesome breakfast in the morning and embark on a visit to the Udupi Krishna Temple – a renowned Sri Krishna Temple in the region. Also, visit Chandramouleshwara Temple and Anantheshwara Temple. Next, return to the hotel and check out from the hotel. Later, continue a drive to Murudeshwar which is about 103 kilometers away. On the way, embark on a visit to the Anegudde Vinayaka Temple.

Murudeshwara is a town that lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea, famous for its beach and temple that draws visitors from across the globe. The second tallest Shiva Temple in the world is in Murudeshwara. It is also known for its 20-storied Gopura which is approximately 237 feet and is built at the temple.

Post this, head towards Gokarna which is about 78 kilometers away from the town. On the way, pay a visit to the well-known Ganapathi Temple at Idagunji. As you reach there, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, we will pay a visit to one of the famous temples of Gokarna Mahabaleshwara Temple, a holy pilgrimage site amongst Hindu pilgrims. Also, visit the Ganapathi Temple and Tamra Gowri Temple. Thereafter, return to the hotel for breakfast. Next visit Sirsi which is about 84 kilometers away. On reach there, check-in at your hotel and relax. After resting for a while, a visit to Sahasralinga is about 17 kilometers away.

In the evening, visit Goddess Marikamba Temple at Sirsi was built back in the 16th century. It is among one the most popular tourist attractions of Sirsi and is a significant place of worship in Karnataka. The temple houses a big idol of the Goddess that is approximately seven feet tall. Later, visit Shri Gopalakrishna Temple and Maha Ganapathi temple located nearby Marikamba Temple. Stay overnight in Sirsi.

In the morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Jog falls – one of the major tourist places to visit in Karnataka known for its abundant natural beauty. It is India’s second-highest waterfall and is named Jogada Gundi and Gersoppa Falls.

Afterward, head towards the next destination Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple near the Sharavathi river. It is surrounded by green areas across. Later, we will proceed to the final destination Kollur which is approximately 48 kilometers away. On reaching, check-in at the hotel and pay a visit to the famous Mookambika Temple. It is said that the panchaloha image of the goddess on Shri Chakra is deified by Shri Adi Shankaracharya. Stay overnight in the hotel in Kollur.

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Sringeri which is about 110 kilometers away. On the way, enjoy capturing the scenic views of Agumbe Ghat. At Sringeri explore its two beautiful temples including Vidya Shankara Temple and Shri Sharadamba Temple. Later, proceed to Horanadu and take pleasure in the overnight stay.

Today is the last day of this tour, when you will leave from Horanadu and reach Bangalore via Kalasa, Belur, and Halebidu. On reaching Bangalore airport, board a flight for an onward journey. The tour and services end here.
