Day 1: Delhi Arrival
Upon your arrival in Delhi – the Capital city of India, you will be greeted by a melting pot of cultures and traditions. Check into the hotel to relax and unwind, then perhaps take a leisure walk around your location. Get a first-ever experience of Delhi’s vibrant street life. Wind up the day with a north Indian dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Begin your sightseeing tour of Delhi with a visit to the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which stands as a testament to the Mughal era. Next, head to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Post lunch, explore India Gate, a war memorial standing tall in the heart of the city, followed by a visit to the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India. Later, visit Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience an eclectic blend of shopping and food at Dilli Haat or Connaught Place before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Delhi – Amritsar (By Train/Flight)
Start your day early, heading to the railway station or airport for your journey to Amritsar, the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion. On reaching, check into the hotel. Spend your evening at the Golden Temple, marveling at its beauty as it illuminates in night. Stay overnight in Amritsar.
Day 4: Wagah Border Visit
After breakfast, visit of Golden Temple in the morning. The Sikh religion is like a democracy and anyone. Women have equal rights and can even be the head of the faith. The temple was built on a 67 ft square of marble and is a two-storied structure. After the temple visit, head to Jallianwala Bagh, a historic site that plays a significant role in India’s freedom struggle. After lunch, take a drive to Wagah Border, which separates India and Pakistan. Witness the flag-lowering ceremony, an event full of pomp, enthusiasm, and patriotism.
Return to the city and visit the local market, shopping for Phulkari embroidery work and savoring Amritsari Kulchas. Stay overnight in Amritsar.
Day 5: Amritsar – Mahajan
Post breakfast, drive to Mahajan, which is about 405 kilometers. Once you reach Rajasthan, you’ll see geography changes. On the way, take a halt at Hanumangarh town. Further drive to Mahajan. Arrive and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure after a long drive. Stay overnight in the heritage hotel Fort Malagarh.
Day 6: Mahajan sightseeing
After a leisurely breakfast, take a walk through the streets and lanes of Mahajan village. Getting a sense of the town’s history and culture. Interact with locals to understand their lifestyle, perhaps visiting a local market or participating in community activity. Conclude your day with a traditional meal, savoring the regional cuisines, and reminiscing about your journey so far.
Day 7: Mahajan – Bikaner – Bawari Village
Today morning, depart from Mahajan and head straight to Bikaner. On reaching, explore the Junagarh Fort, a monument boasting red sandstone architecture and intricate carvings. The fort has several temples, pavilions, and palaces covering an area of 5.28 hectares. After the vast drive towards Bawari village. Arrive and check into the village chief villa. In the evening, visit a nearby temple and capture the scenic sunset views from the hilltop. Stay overnight in Bawari village.
Day 8: Bawari Village – Jaisalmer
Post breakfast, head to Kheechan and see demoiselle cranes that visit here every winter. Then drive to Jaisalmer, the golden city. Arrive and check in to your hotel.
Day 9: Jaisalmer sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the city. Embark on a visit to the Jaisalmer fort through the narrow streets dotted with temples and havelis. You will visit the fort, Gadisar Lake, famous havelis, and Bada Bagh. In the evening, drive to Sam Sand Dunes to see the sunset. Also, enjoy camel rides at the dunes. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Note: It can also be possible to stay overnight in tented accommodation in the Thar Desert. Tent stays are operational between October to March.
Day 10: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Next day, after breakfast, take a drive to Jodhpur. On the way, visit Osiyan Temple. The Sachiya Mata Temple was built in the 8th Century, while the present temple is said to date to the 12th century. The temple interiors are decorated with beautiful images from the Hindu Pantheon. The human figures engraved on the temple include those of Gods and Goddesses that are reminiscent of the languid grace in the carvings. Continue your journey to Jodhpur. enroute halt at Mandore gardens. Arrive and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Jodhpur – Bera
Start your day with a refreshing breakfast, and then visit Mehrangarh Fort. Beneath the fortress lies the grave of a man who died to nullify a serious curse. Listen to the story from your personal tour guide in Jodhpur. Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts not only in Rajasthan but across the country. You will visit several palaces in the fort complex. After the visit, take a drive to Bera, the leopard conservation country. Arrive and check into your hotel for a night stay.
Day 12: Bera – Ranakpur – Udaipur
Post breakfast, depart for Ranakpur. Visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple, known for its intricate sculptures and marble pillars. Continue your journey to Udaipur – The City of Lakes. On reaching there, you may head for a boat ride on Lake Pichola, overlooking the City Palace and Jag Mandir Palace. The serene waters and the setting sun offer picturesque views, making a perfect ending to your day.
Day 13: Udaipur sightseeing
Dive into the history of Udaipur with a visit to the City Palace. Discover its courtyards, pavilions, and gardens. Then head to the Jagdish Temple, an architectural marvel. Take a stroll through Saheliyon ki Bari, a garden adorned with fountains, lotus pools, and marble pavilions. Enjoy a lakeside lunch overlooking Lake Pichola.

Day 14: Udaipur – Pushkar

Day 15: Pushkar – Jaipur

Day 16: Jaipur sightseeing
