Jaisalmer Jodhpur Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Jaisalmer

On reaching Jaisalmer City, you will be greeted by our tour operator and get transferred to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel and relax some time. Afterward, proceed for sightseeing and visit the famous Havelis of Jaisalmer – Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, and Nathmalji ki Haveli. In the evening, enjoy boating in Gadisar Lake and spend your leisure time in its tranquil surroundings. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 2: Jaisalmer Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, continue sightseeing in Jaisalmer wherein you will first visit Jaisalmer Fort – the largest and lively fort of the world that houses 2/3^rd of the old city’s population. Click amazing photographs of this beautiful yellowish sandstone castle and worship the famous Jain Temples inside the fortress. Onwards head to Bada Bagh which is a cenotaph adjoining a garden. Vyas Chhatri is the assemblage of golden sandstone edifices showcasing Rajasthani architecture.

In the evening, visit the Golden Sand Dunes of Jaisalmer to enjoy a desert safari in the wide stretch of the Thar Desert. Witness breathtaking views of the sunset as you ride on the camelback and take a tour of the desert. Further, reach the campsite where you will be served with a welcome drink and enjoy a cultural evening program of Rajasthani folk dance and music performances. Enjoy a gala buffet dinner and overnight stay in the camps in Jaisalmer.

Day 3: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

After a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, check-out and get transferred to Jodhpur – the Blue City of Rajasthan known for its blue-painted houses. Immerse in the rich cultural heritage in the vibes of the city that will leave you mesmerized. Arrive and get transferred to the hotel to relax and refresh. Later, head out for sightseeing and cover places like Mehrangarh Fort and Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park located at the foot of the fortress. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Jodhpur Sightseeing and Departure

On the last day of this tour, get ready after breakfast and leave for half-day Jodhpur sightseeing in Jodhpur. Firstly, visit Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace, and Ghanta Ghar (if you want to shop for some souvenirs). Afterward, pack your bags and leave for your onward journey. Get assistance transferred to the railway station or airport and bid adieu to this beautiful city of Rajasthan. Take back some heart-warming memories and souvenirs.
